Fees & Rebates

Fees are calculated at a rate of $260 for a 50-60 minute consultation. This is below the 2024/2025 nationally recommended rates as set out by the Australian Association of Psychologists (AAPi) ($315 for a 40-60 minute consultation) and the Australian Psychological Society (APS) ($311 for a 46-60 minute consultation).

Assessments

Assessments are charged as a set package fee, with fees differing for a standard assessment, comprehensive assessment, and brief assessment. Please contact the clinic for further information on assessment package fees.

Rebates & Private health

For therapy / support sessions, a mental health care plan (MHCP) may be provided by your GP. This allows you to claim a rebate for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. After six therapy sessions, a progress review by your referring GP is required.

A MHCP does not cover psychoeducational and ADHD assessments.

For an autism assessment, you may be able to claim Medicare rebate if the client is under 25 years of age and referred by a Paediatrician or Psychiatrist. Further information about Medicare rebates for complex neurodevelopmental assessments is available at:
